"The Rule house has been our favorite house to rent on BI by a landslide! We rented the rule house with my parents and family back in the late 80's and early 90's. I actually proposed to my wife when we stayed there right on Cooneymus beach at sunset summer of 1994. The best sunsets on the island are right there! We continued to rent the Rule House up until around 2006 or 2007. We were sad to find out it went off the rental list. Every house we have stayed at since does not compare to the Rule House. Our three children have asked us year after year can we stay at the Rule house. The 3 season dining area surrounded by windows has incredible water and sunset views all around. Also they have a great deck for everyone facing the ocean and also a couple of private decks attached to bedrooms with great views. The outdoor shower also faces the sunset!! We couldn't believe it when we saw that the Rule house was back on the Rental list last summer. Once again my family and I are going back this summer to stay at the Rule House. Kids now 24, 22 and 15 are beyond excited to return to our favorite place that has given us a life time of memories." Repeat Renter
